“The Heroes”
Halostar looked upon the ruins of his families’ home. No one had been able to come in time to help. On Sagak, there were no large cities surrounded by walls. Only lone huts surrounded by their fields of crops built along the road that ran in a circle, with the lake inside the circle and the mountains outside it. He stooped down and ran his finger through some of the ashes. He sniffed it, yep; he could smell the traces of magic Fire in it. His family was rather anti-magic. All it had ever caused them was pain.
